I Work With Families the Way I’d Want Someone to Work With Mine

I don’t believe family photos need more pressure, more performance, or more things to get right. The way I show up comes from being around families my whole life, watching how quickly seasons move, and intentionally creating space for you to arrive, settle in, and let the experience unfold without needing to manage it.

The Way I Approach Newborn, Maternity, and Family Photography in Dallas

I grew up surrounded by family. Big gatherings, loud rooms, kids moving through every stage at once. Being in the middle of that taught me something early on, the moments that matter most don’t announce themselves. They happen while life is busy, imperfect, and full.

That understanding shapes how I work today.
I don’t come into sessions looking for everything to be a certain way. I come in aware of how quickly this season moves, and how easily it can blur together when you’re the one holding everything up. My role is to notice what you’re living inside of, not just what it looks like.

As a Dallas photographer, I pay attention to the pace, the personalities, and the way your family naturally fits together, and I guide the experience so it feels steady and unforced. When you walk away, I want the process to feel lighter than expected, and the memories to feel like a true reflection of this season.

I was worried our baby would need to be consoled and we would feel rushed. But you were very patient and helpful in getting him to calm down. Life changes so fast and even though it’s hard and seems impossible now, later you’re going to want to go back to it and pictures are the only way to do that, and all of the emotion and love that came with this season of life.
